Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
This opportunity is seeking qualified Speech Language Pathologists to support a K-12 school setting, primarily servicing a pre-K caseload. The role is contract-based for the current school year, from November through June, with 35 hours per week onsite preferred. The positions are located in the Grand Blanc, Lansing, and Detroit areas of Michigan.
Key Qualifications and Experience:
- Current Michigan licensure as an SLP; Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates with temporary licensure and an established supervisor may be considered
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred
- Experience or interest in working with urban student populations and understanding their unique challenges
- Strong communication and assessment skills specific to speech-language pathology in school settings
- Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, families, and support personnel
- University transcripts required for application review
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language pathology services to students, primarily within the pre-K population
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to diverse student needs
- Monitor student progress and document outcomes in compliance with state guidelines
- Engage with families to provide resources and support to enhance student success
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary planning
Location: Positions are onsite with allowance for telepractice candidates, but preference is given to individuals able to work in the schools located in Grand Blanc, Lansing, and Detroit, Michigan.
